My flat

I think, every person always dreams about the place where he can have a rest after hard working day, chat with close friends, where he can feel happy and quiet. As for me it is my family and my home. It is the best place in the world and my dearest people live here.

My family and I live in Narva-Jõesuu. We live in Kudruküla Street in a 9-stored block of flats. Our apartment is on the first floor. There are three rooms in it. There is a parquet in all these rooms. The living-room is rather large. There are two arm-chairs, a sofa and a small round table in the room. Near the window, there is a big TV and a VCR. Also, there is a powerful Hi-Fi audio system placed along a wall. In my tiny parent's bedroom there is a double bed with bedside stands, a wardrobe, and a table with a mirror.

I have my own room. It is quite spacious. There is a mirror wall unit, a sofa with an arm-chair and a desk with a lamp on it. There I put my PC that helps me very much. My bed is at the left corner. There is a bookcase in my room where I keep my books. I like music very much, so there is my own “boom-box” stereo-centre.

We have a wonderful kitchen. It is very well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven and a dish-washer. In the bathroom there is a washing machine and a big bath. We also have a vacuum-cleaner to do the rooms.

We have all modern conveniences, such as electric heating, boiler and a cordless telephone. We like it very much. It is very cosy and well planed. It is so pleasant to stay here. “There is no place like home”.
